GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an infrastructure engineer who is detail-oriented, and proficient with technologies that exist within our ecosystem. Their responsibilities will include Installation, monitoring, and maintaining operating environments. They will be required to upgrade, troubleshoot, and support these environments in and outside of regular business hours.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Installation, Monitoring, and Maintaining Systems.

· Upgrading, and supporting changes during maintenance windows

· Monitoring and troubleshooting problems that may arise with applications.

Required EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

· Ability to work with Linux, including fluency in common CLI instructions and Shell Scripting.

·5 years of experience 

· Working knowledge of SQL.

· Experience with deploying and configuring TomEE/Tomcat.

· Knowledge of SSL and Management/installation of certificates

· Knowledge of networking principles including (DNS, TCP/IP, UDP, etc)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

· Experience installing/configuring JBOSS, Mule, (BPM) Appian or Decisions, JMS (Kafka/Artemis/AMQ)

·Bachelors/Associates Degree in a related field (ex: Computer Science, Information technology) 

· J2EE, JDBC, JPA/Hibernate, Tomee/Tomcat, SQL, ActiveMQ, Junit, XML/XSL/JSON

· Experience with databases (data structures, and principles)

· Knowledge of Software Development Best Practices

· Experience with software testing

· Knowledge of networking principles

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.

· Strong written and oral communication skills required

· Strong documentation skills

· Ability to work independently
