Job Title: Licensed Electrician

Department: Service

Reports to: Field Supervisor

Job Description/Qualifications:

Installation and maintenance of wires for heat, light, and power.

Installation and maintenance of wires for control and monitoring of building systems.

Installation of power and controls for HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Troubleshooting and servicing of many different types of devices and equipment.

Read and interpret job drawings.

Comfortable with both service and construction work.

Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service.

Ability to think outside the box to resolve problems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a group.

90% commercial industrial, restaurants/hospitals/manufacturing plants/service and install

Structured wiring

This position requires a minimum of 3 - 10 years of on the job experience

Relies on direction from management and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, work with peers and communicate with customers.

License Required:

MA JM Electrician's License

Valid Driver’s License

OSHA 10

NH, ME, RI, and CT JM Electrical license a bonus

Physical Requirements:

Lifting (approx 50 lbs.), climbing ladders and stairs; bending or stooping; extended periods of walking; regular exposure to weather conditions; operate motor vehicles; and ability to operate power and/or hand tools

Other:

An individual must show a willingness to continue to develop skills in the Plumbing and HVAC/R trade as part of the continued learning process. Must show strong teamwork skills and also be capable of working independently.
