MEDC: Tribal One is Hiring a Construction Water Truck Operator Near Denver, CO

Tribal One Construction is looking to hire a full-time Water Truck Operator to join our team. Are you looking to advance your career? Do you have experience as a Water Truck Operator? This Water Truck Operator position is with a small company managed by a cohesive team of professionals that is looking to increase our capability. This position earns a competitive hourly wage of $23.99 - $30.50, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION WATER TRUCK OPERATOR

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the transportation of water hauls to designated worksite locations in a safe manner as required.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck to ensure safety while driving.
  • Maintain a log of working hours of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, other Federal, State and local safety regulations.
  • Proven record of following state and federal motor vehicle regulations.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
  • Practice strict adherence to DOT requirements.
  • Immediately notify supervisor of any vehicle safety concerns.
  • May be requested to operate other heavy equipment onsite.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Class A or B CDL License (required), tanker endorsement (preferred).
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional truck driving experience.
  • Must be proficient in tractor trailer with 10 and 13 speed transmissions.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with required background checks from Tribal 1, DoD, DHS, DOJ and other agencies for clearances.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with T1, Federal and State drug free workplace policies.
  • Be safety oriented.

Physical Requirements (as required by OSHA and ADA):

  • Exposure to weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain and dust on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as business demands.
  • Pushing, pulling and lifting objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position.
  • Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods of time and access all construction areas.
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
