OT services are provided both in-person and via tele-health. Our goal is to make sure all of our families have the chance to live their best lives. We are looking to grow our team of Pediatric Occupational Therapists who are compassionate, dedicated, and love working with children and families. 

Job Duties:

  • Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview
  • Create individualized treatment and educational plans and provides patient/family counseling and training.
  • Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies
  • Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate. Common diagnoses include: autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, articulation challenges, ADHD, anxiety, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, learning disorders; ranging in age from 6 months to 16 years on average. 
  • Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care
  • Develops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings. Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals
  • Contribute to program development
  • Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, some weekends may be required to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications:

  • Current CA license in OT
  • NBCOT: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working as an OT with pediatric population
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational priorities
  • Timely documentation of client progress and complete billing logs ethically and accurately for occupational therapy services provided
  • Work in a collaborative environment with other clinicians with varied backgrounds in field.
