We are seeking a Total Rewards Director to analyze, manage and execute all aspects of the Company’s Total Rewards and Recognition programs. The ideal candidate will assist with managing vendor administration/relationships and engage with vendors throughout the year to support various total rewards programs, as well as identify and recommend opportunities for improvements to existing systems and processes, driving efficiencies. This role also requires attention to detail to ensure compliance with applicable government reporting regulations and requirements. Additionally, this high impact individual will also play a critical role in managing the HR Systems to support Global HR data, analysis and reporting. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CHRO and external vendors on the effective design and administration of compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs to attract and retain exceptional colleagues.
  • Lead projects for key compensation initiatives such as compensation structure design and implementation, market benchmarking, as well as prepare materials for quarterly board meetings.
  • Provide advice on total rewards strategy (e.g. promotions/transfers, job offers, relocations) including policy and guideline interpretation, as well as annual compensation of base salary and merit analysis benchmarking (position analysis, levelling evaluations, and pricing) and updating ranges and structures.
  • Analyze benefit plan coverage and recommend innovative benefit strategies, policies and programs designed to attract and retain team members.
  • Partners with HR, Finance, and managers on all compensation related matters, such as, base pay, incentives, compensation analyses, compensation tools, merger and acquisition integration, and other compensation related policies, programs, and strategies.
  • Participate in yearly compensation survey submissions.
  • Evaluates jobs, documenting responsibilities and requirements in job descriptions, including FLSA reviews.
  • Assists in preparing compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other compensation actions.
  • Participates in administration of annual performance management, incentive, or merit increase programs.
  • Audits HR data regularly to ensure data integrity across all systems. Partners with payroll for ongoing benefits programs audits.

Key Success Factors: Experience in the administration of compensation and global benefit programs.

  • Successful track record of managing International Total Rewards for a high-growth, global organization—we currently operate in US & Canada, and will be expanding globally 
  • Progressive leadership responsibility in the areas of benefits, compensation, and HRIS programs/systems.
  • Experience with effectively scaling Total Rewards to support company business goals and growth, with focus on industry competitiveness.
  • Experience managing the annual Benefits Open Enrollment process
  • Knowledge of HR, Benefits, and applicable federal and state laws and regulations including by not limited to ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and Workers' Compensation.

  • Experience with ADP desired

Education/Experience:

  • Progressive leadership responsibility in the areas of benefits, compensation, and HRIS programs/systems.
  • Experience with effectively scaling Total Rewards to support company business goals and growth, with focus on industry competitiveness.
  • Advanced knowledge of benefits, compensation, and HRIS.
  • Preferred previous experience with HR systems implementation in a small to medium sized organizations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools is required.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) and CBP (Certified Benefits Professional) preferred.
  • International Total Rewards and Compensation experience is a preferred
