Summary

Our fast growing design team is looking for an experienced UX Researcher to bring user needs to light and directly influence product strategy and execution of UX features. You possess extensive experience in conducting qualitative research as well as quantitative research.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive research roadmap, using an appropriate mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to address the questions at hand.
• Ability to synthesize user research findings and deliver high-quality insight to inform product direction, and effectively bring the voice of the customer to product decisions.
• Establish User Research as part of the product design/development process, including supporting product design discovery, applying various testing methods to validate design and usability, before and after production.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product & Design, customer success and marketing to deliver coherent end-to-end customer experience by advocating for the end user and fostering a deep understanding of their needs.
• Deliver effective research insights to support the leadership team in strategic decision making.
• Deliver actionable research findings and recommendations.
• Strive for clarity, work to influence others and build consensus.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.).
• Experience with planning and conducting end user usability testing.
• Knowledge of design principles and usability theories. 
• Proven ability to execute at a high level in a remote environment.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
