Employee Type: Full time Location: WI Milwaukee Job Type: Production Maintenance Job Posting Title: Maintenance Technician Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Works in partnership with the Maintenance Manager to perform basic maintenance and repairs on conveyors, packaging equipment, production equipment, electrical controls systems and other related plant systems Provides routine inspections and monitoring of all production equipment Performs troubleshooting on equipment and facilities as needed to determine the root cause of problem and perform proper repair Completes all work safely and follows all company policies and procedures regarding safety completion of work Completes building and facility maintenance as needed Supports and follows standards for food safety and food quality production reflected in SQF as well as the regulations of major vendors and governmental agencies such as OSHA, FDA and EPA Records and documents according to procedures, assuring that all equipment documentation is up to date and accurate Performs data entry into Computer Maintenance Management System Prepares unscheduled work orders to support production requirements Works in SAP to maintain daily work lists Remains current in training expectations Keeps work environment clean, safe and positive Primary focus of all business related efforts are and must remain that of promoting excellence in all products Present a good and positive business image in every aspect of your professional daily business Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
