We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Technician to join our talented and motivated team.

The Meadowglade is situated on a 24-acre campus surrounded by mountains and sprawling hills, with 8 acres of avocado groves. Hourly Rate: $20.00.

Shift: Sat & Sun 7AM-7PM

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide and facilitate educational and counseling groups assigned and promptly document these activities in the client’s records.
• Provide line of sight supervision to clients and skill-building psycho-educational and/or support groups. Complete house-related chores as assigned.
• Provides crisis intervention services when authorized and necessary and always maintains active participation with the clients.
• Monitor and document medication self-administration.
• Encourage client’s participation in all daily activities, promote positive interactions among peers.
• Carry out other responsibilities as delegated.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Possesses a High School diploma or GED
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 4 years
• Minimum of 1-year experience in the mental health field
• Physical Demands – the employee is frequently required to sit; the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
