Job Description

The Office Assistant is responsible for various tasks that support the daily operations of the MCP office. The Office Assistant is the initial company representative responsible for welcoming visitors to the office as well as those calling into the office. The Office Assistant’s main objective is to provide any type of support needed by our team to maintain excellent and efficient service to our clients and community.

Basic Job Duties

  • The Office Assistant is the first point of contact for all phone calls and visitors. 
  • Order, distribute, and organize office supplies.
  • Manage accounts for office supply vendors.
  • Assist with travel arrangements for employees and candidates.
  • Point of contact for building maintenance concerns.
  • Responsible for general organization of the office common areas.
  • Assist the team with special projects.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a pleasant disposition and a strong desire to support the team around them.
  • The ability to follow directions efficiently and quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required.
  • Qualified candidates must be able to present themselves in a professional manner.
  • Candidates must have excellent computer skills. Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Experience in PowerPoint, Adobe, and Bluebeam is a plus.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills. Both verbal and written.
  • The ability to multi-task and maintain flexibility is required.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
