INTRODUCTION:
McMahon Associates is comprised of progressive transportation engineers and planners who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are passionate about providing safe and efficient mobility for the general public. We are seeking a Project Manager to complement our Team of transportation engineering professionals in our growing Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA) office, while working across disciplines and with other offices to provide high-quality transportation solutions for Private Sector and Municipal Sector clients. Our projects include Transportation Impact Studies, corridor studies, traffic calming studies, signal analyses, area-wide studies, and parking studies within urban, suburban, and rural communities. Our Private Sector projects focus on the transportation aspects (Transportation Impact Studies & Highway Occupancy Permits) of land development of educational facilities, residential communities, health care, industrial, and mixed-use developments, especially those which help revitalize aging communities and act as economic drivers. Our Municipal Sector projects focus on area-wide studies, capital improvements and traffic signal systems. This position requires leadership skills, technical and interpersonal skills, and interaction with private sector clients, municipal sector clients, municipal officials, and reviewing agencies.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects, including technical overview, budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and client management. The Project Manager also supervises staff, including Senior Project Engineers/Planners, Project Engineers/Planners, Staff Engineers, and Technicians.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has immediate supervisory responsibilities.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position. The typical work days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some night and weekend work may be required. This position is a regular, full-time position and is anticipated to be based out of our Allentown, PA office.
TRAVEL:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.
