We are seeking a values-inspired Internal Communications Manager to join our growing Internal Communications team. Our Internal Communications Manager uses a robust internal communications background, results-driven expertise and a network of solid internal partnerships to create and execute strategic, integrated communications that positively impact and elevate the McKinstry employee experience.
You're great at:
Communications
Build and maintain solid partnerships with assigned internal clients to develop, manage and execute strategic communication plans that support key initiatives and various business objectives and long-term goals.
Hands-on communications management for complex projects and change management initatives. Understanding the scope and implications of each project and/or change and connecting it to the broader strategy.
Develop manager communication resources to better enable people managers to lead and support their teams.
Identify and execute the best mix of communications channels and platforms to disseminate key messages across the company to meet business, strategic, and communication objectives.
Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and departments of the organization as well as with external messages.
Use storytelling to create exciting and innovative communications that reflect and inspire employee engagement.
Leverage innovative technologies to develop ways to improve reach and employee engagement.
Support the management of employee intranet; facilitate regular content review, design and layout, and maintenance of pages working with content owners and key stakeholders across the business.
Create KPIs to track, measure effectiveness and continuously improve the impact of the communications.
Coach partners in how to best communicate their strategies and programs.
What we would like to see in you:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or equivalent work experience required.
10 years of experience in corporate communications or internal communications required.
Proven ability to lead and manage multiple communications assignments in a fast-paced environment across a variety of channels.
Demonstrated ability to create effective communication strategies that connect to business outcomes.
Excellent writer, listener and collaborator with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to elevate the employee experience.
Proven ability to build professional, collaborative working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
Experience developing executive and/or manager communications.
Demonstrated experience in planning, measuring, and evaluating communication effectiveness.
Ability to effectively juggle multiple projects and resources.
Experience in highly-matrixed or complex organizations and engaging employees across multiple remote sites a plus.
