Boutique Carlsbad law firm is seeking a part-time, contract attorney to assist with family law cases. This position is for approximately 15 to 25 hours per week, with the possibility of becoming a full-time position. The attorney would assist with family law matters, including but not limited to drafting motions, responsive pleadings, discovery, litigation, court appearances, depositions, mediations and other matters related to dissolution of marriage proceedings.

Minimum qualifications include: admission to practice law in California, good standing with the State Bar, at least two years of experience in family law, and a strong working knowledge of the San Diego Superior Court Local Rules, CA Family Code and Code of Civil Procedure.

The ideal Applicant will have excellent communication and analytical abilities, detail-oriented, a self-starter with strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Applicant should possess superior writing abilities, strong computer skills, ability to multi-task efficiently, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
