Current Need We are currently seeking a Network Security Analyst to join the team. This position can sit in Irving, TX, Atlanta, GA, or Phoenix, AZ. The Network Security Analyst will have the ability to refine and translate complex requirements and execute automation efforts in XSOAR . Will also help develop playbooks, using XSOAR tool, on tasks that could be automated to improve efficiency of our various business units and teams. Position Description The Network Security Analyst will be responsible for developing SOAR (security orchestration, automation, and response) playbooks and integrations that enhance and provide more efficiency to cybersecurity teams. In addition, the Network Security Analyst will be responsible for the design, compliance, and governance of network security and network infrastructure solutions. Position includes the evaluation, development, and maintenance of security policies and procedure. Ensures that network security controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IT security standards. Will also identify security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security. Minimum Requirements Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4 years of relevant experience. Critical Skills 4 years of experience developing automation Experience in a cybersecurity role in a global enterprise Expertise with CORTEX XSOAR Palo Alto solutions Experience with network security technologies, including: Firewall Technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto) Pulse Secure, Global Protect Experience developing and executing work processes in a fast-paced technical environment Expert skills in automation engineering and testing Experience leveraging REST APIs Programming experience in Python Own automation activities for a SOAR platform Develop automation that allows for unification and better efficiency Create and use test cases to assess automation ideas Develop automated response activities based on user roles Identify and present automation ideas and produce automation results, usually per requests from security teams or leadership. Gather XSOAR use cases and convert them into automation playbooks Maintain XSOAR platform through defect fixes, content updates, and system upgrades Proficiency with Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel Additional Knowledge & Skills Industry relevant certification(s) (CISSP, GSEC, CISA, Security , Network , etc.) preferred Ability to prioritize risks to the business in real-time Ability to lead by example in a team Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills Ability to communicate well, contribute to cross functional and individual contributor teams, participate in response and defensive actions over a variety of security disciplines, and disseminate technical information as appropriate Other tasks and duties as needed to support the customer and/or business relating to XSOAR Lead and drive progress forward Education Degree or equivalent experience Physical Requirements / Working Conditions General Office Demands Must be authorized to work in the US.
