Junior Software Engineer

MCC, Inc is currently seeking Junior Software Engineers to join our organization as we grow and transform our technology landscape. As a Software Engineer for MCC, Inc. candidates should expect to be working on projects that include full stack web applications, mobile app development, distributed systems, and cloud-based solutions.

MCC, Inc. has been in the construction industry for over 95 years and our intent is to continue to grow in both size and scope while continuing to push the status-quo technology in our industry. Our core technologies are C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, Node.js, React, and React Native.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web, native, and cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with engineering team and complete tasks as assigned.
• Maintain and adhere to best practices and standards.
• Tests code for expected functionality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Possess a passion and drive for learning and collaboration.
• Educational or professional experience with the following:
  • Object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • With web languages (HTML, CSS, JS).
  • SQL and relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Familiarity with at least one modern frontend web framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• Experience with a distributed or centralized version control system such as Git or TFVC.
• Previous experience in a Software Engineering Internship.
