This is an opportunity to support Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific located in scenic Honolulu, HI. Our team will support a multibillion-dollar construction program that will help sharpen the U.S. Navy’s technical edge by recapitalizing historic infrastructure at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. This once-in-a-century investment will build a new drydock and build other supporting facilities.
The Construction Manager will assist the NAVFAC Pacific Officer in Charge of Construction (OICC) in managing construction with coordination of the team of project managers, design engineers, and contract specialists working on various projects within the Shipyard capital improvement program.
The Construction Manager (CM) will be assigned to participate in construction contract management team duties for individual construction projects. The projects assigned will vary in type and magnitude, including structures and related work such as office and shop buildings, utility installation, wharf repairs, industrial facilities, all related to the new dry dock within Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard optimization program. Projects may be in the $5M to above $400M range.
The CM is to work with all ETs, QAETs and other individuals that are assigned similar duties as an ET as part of the execution of any project Construction Management teams may be required to work on multiple projects, at different stages of design/construction at the same time.
