Position Summary

The Transportation Coordinator plays a key role in providing support to the Supply Chain department and other internal customers. The Transportation Coordinator will assist with the supervision of inbound and outbound traffic and support various Logistics initiatives.

Education

An undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, direct related job experience where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.

Experience & Skills

• Experience in a business environment with analytical work preferred - data mining, analysis, reporting
• Previous experience working with freight carriers regarding planning, scheduling and selection preferred
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholders, partners and team members
• Excellent math and spreadsheet skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required
• Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills
• Must have advanced writing and communication skills, and be able to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various functions of the organization (e.g. Operations, Finance, Sales)
• Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
