Account Manager
The Account Manager will generate new revenue producing business via field sales visits, phone contact, various social media platforms, email and web-based lead follow up; helps customers, project managers and architects understand the benefits of using Sheffield Metals products and services by promoting a technical approach to selling engineered metal roofing systems. The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving maximum sales margin and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling standing seam roofing products, accessories and roll forming equipment; develops new relationships to sell new prospects while maintaining and growing existing relationships to sell additional products, services and warranties.
Education
A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, preferred, with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in an industrial and/or construction sales role, with multiple years of proven knowledge and demonstrated track record of success in exceeding goals.
