Mayvin is currently seeking experienced applicants to serve as a Senior Program Manager to lead a team supporting research and developmental test and evaluation assignments for air, surface, C5ISR and logistics systems. Program management support activities focus on DHS Acquisition and related test & evaluation program and projects. Place of performance is Washington, D.C.
Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position.
Must possess an active SECRET clearance as a minimum.
Responsibilities:
Single point of contact with the client regarding execution of work assignments
Oversees the development and execution of test programs, program products and services, and oversees quality and timely delivery of deliverables
Manges cost, schedule and overall team performance in executing RDT&E test and evaluation programs
Develops project plans and delegates tasks to subordinate team of test engineers
Responsible for test and evaluation planning and execution for a full range of test and evaluation functions, including complete test planning, TEM development, scheduling, identification of test resources, participation in testing, test results review, process definition, procedures allocation, simulations, models, and accreditation
Will oversee program requirements traceability and tracking
Shall support the acquisition process by participating in IPTs, program reviews and test event
Qualifications:
Must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
A Bachelors degree in relevant field such as management, engineering, technology, or systems acquisition. (Advanced degree preferred but not required)
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience in systems acquisition environment
Must have two (2) years of relevant experience in direct support of the US Coast Guard, Government Agencies supporting defense, Homeland Security, or law enforcement missions.
An understanding of DHS/USCG processes and organizational structure is highly desirable
Strong background in Test & Evaluation application in an RDT&E / Acquisition environment
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to support and manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work with a variety of colleagues with varying levels of experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Mastery in use of personal computers with extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications including Microsoft Teams
Experience in development of databases in Microsoft Access for technical and programmatic tracking of financial data, key deliverables, and milestones highly desirable
