SUMMARY OF POSITION: This position actively interacts in person with staff, so remote opportunities are not available. Under minimal guidance, the Recruiter is responsible for research, development, andimplementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for all US locations within the organization. This position will attract talented employees for our US locations including both manufacturing and office level positions. This position is responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition including recruitment for key roles, and developing dashboards and metrics to track the Talent Acquisition process. This role will drive projects that will evolve and enhance the TA program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Accountable for the development of creative proactive recruitment strategies based on current market trends and analysis.· Manages the full recruitment life cycle including sourcing, job posting, screening, administering assessments, interviewing, and candidate selection.· Designs and implements proactive recruiting strategies and programs including plants to source and hire passive candidates.· Mentors, coaches, and trains other recruiters and stakeholders in the recruitment process.· Serves as the project lead on Talent Acquisition initiatives.· Create and maintain a continual/active flow of candidates by utilizing advanced internet searching skills, cold and warm calling, networking, database mining, referrals, social/business websites, and other non-traditional avenues.· Source, screen, interview, manage the interview process, close and hire both internal and external candidates in all areas of the company.· Effectively partner with business leaders on all aspects of staffing by translating client technical/functional hiring needs into effective and efficient candidate generation strategies.· Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.· Provides exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience through communication, relationship building, and execution of the recruitment process.· Creates and places job advertising in various media.· Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and works at job fairs.· Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants.· Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.· Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.· Coordinates reference and background check process with applicants.· Coordinates communications with applicants.· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.· Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.· Consistently deliver results, executed by setting personal performance & development goals, and taking personal accountability to ensure success.· Demonstrated self-motivation, drive for results, a sense of urgency, and resourcefulness· Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years relevant experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education. PHR, SPHR, or relatedcredential preferred. Candidate must be self driven, and exhibit strong motivation to achieve goals to fill positions, be detail-oriented, demonstrate strong organizational skills, written and verbal communication, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to solve problems.
