Looking for a full-time, friendly, trustworthy, motivated, and dependable optician to join an established and growing private optometry office.

Main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Eyeglasses and contact lens sales.
• Maintain optical inventory.
• Effectively do adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoot optical problems.
• Be familiar with vision insurances like VSP, EyeMed, Davis, and the various types of Medicaid.
• Effectively explain insurance benefits to patients, and accurately figure co-payments.
• Assist in answering phones, billing insurances, and helping other employees when needed.

Having a positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and being a TEAM player is a must!

Main hours will be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Approximately 35-40 hours a week will be available.

NO WEEKENDS! We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay will be determined on experience.

Experience in the optical field is required.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
