What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Associate position at Maybury Material Handling?
Maybury is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented team player with strong customer service skills to join our team in East Longmeadow as a Parts Associate. This is an in-office position where you will help to support our technicians and customers by processing orders and returns for parts, cores, and warranties.
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Receiving and processing parts order and quote requests from a variety of sources, including online orders, internal requests, and external customer requests.
- Effectively manage the return process for core parts and parts warranties with Crown and other vendors.
- Coordinates and schedules delivery of parts to customer sites by team members
- Responds to customer inquiries and questions including handling in-person visits from customers, vendors and other parties for parts ordering and pick-ups.
- Assists other team members when needed to ensure all transactions are completed in a timely manner and that all information is current and accurate.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and at least 12 months of related experience. Parts knowledge and/or experience working with parts is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required as well as strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
