Maybury Material Handling is Hiring a Parts Advisor Near East Longmeadow, MA
Are you ready to elevate your career in a dynamic and thriving industry? Maybury Material Handling, a premier dealer for Crown Lift trucks and a distributor for over 1,300 manufacturers, is seeking a motivated and dedicated Parts Advisor to join our office team. As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in our Parts Department, responsible for various administrative tasks that involve processing parts orders in the office, assisting our Service Department, managing parts inventory, and ensuring smooth operations within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process parts orders through our work order system, collaborating with customers and Maybury Service Technicians to source and order the necessary parts.
- Assist the Service Department by adding parts and relevant information to Service quotes.
- Ensure accurate and timely parts replenishment for our Service Technician's vans by processing parts transfers in our system.
- Collaborate with teammates to conduct cycle counts on in-house and service van parts inventories.
- Handle parts warranty returns, core returns, purchase orders, and other related tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, with at least six months of relevant experience. Parts knowledge and prior experience in a parts-related role are advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills are a must, along with strong organizational and follow-through abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer at an intermediate level is required.
