Mavericks Wanted! Maverick Gaming, Seattle’s fastest growing gaming company, is looking to hire a Casino Marketing Manager to assist in creating and marketing Seattle’s best entertainment experience. If you are a proven Marketer with experience developing, implementing, and managing strategies that grow market share, increase revenue and drive awareness then this role is right for you!

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading marketing programs and projects, implementing corporate driven initiatives and building customer loyalty programs. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the strategic goals and objectives of the company.

Success in this role will be measured primarily through ongoing efficiency improvement, quality of marketing & creative project output, increase in visitation/EBITDA and ability to lead and managed a diverse, strong, and satisfied workforce.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement marketing strategies that grow market share, increase property revenue, and improve efficiency within goals established by the company
  • Work with Marketing Leaders to implement loyalty reinvestment strategy for properties including: gaming and food & beverage
  • Oversee the creation, development and execution of casino/food & beverage calendars, promotions and events to maximize guest profit, retention and engagement
  • Execute annual marketing plans and coordinating budgets for the company
  • Work within monthly marketing, database, group and players club budgets
  • Oversee all aspects of creative artwork designed for use on behalf of the company
  • Manage all brand, marketing, media, and creative requests for regional properties
  • Assists with monitoring & responding to surveys, online ratings & reviews, social channel comments, and direct messages in a brand appropriate and timely manner
  • Create content and schedules to promote audience interaction and increase presence
  • Manage all on property communication, signage and develop and market on property entertainment
  • Print and position on property marketing materials
  • Oversee development of localized strategic relationships and alliances
  • Oversee all purchases of retail merchandise, player gifts and giveaways items
  • Optimize marketing through cooperation with support organizations (e.g., Analytics, Creative, Direct Mail)
  • Continually monitor and react to in-market competitive activities
  • Flexible workweek with possible additional hours required
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience required
  • Three (3) or more years of recent and related successful experience in marketing.
  • One (1) or more years of related managerial experience.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to Maverick brand standards and divisional marketing practices
  • Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong functional knowledge of social media principles, practices, and the desire to apply that knowledge in a professional environment
  • Previous experience successfully managing a casino marketing department a plus
  • Must have outstanding track record of management capabilities and organizational leadership in a client-service, team-driven
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a proactive problem solver with a strong work ethic
  • Must be highly collaborative with strong management experience in building, managing, and leading high performing team
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed, outgoing, and personable with the ability to interface with senior management
