Maven is looking for an exceptional Associate, Compliance to support the implementation and evaluation of Maven’s compliance program. As a key member of the team working alongside our Senior Manager, Compliance you will be responsible for managing the compliance functions of Maven’s growing provider population, and executing on the overall Maven Compliance Program. We are looking for someone that is passionate about healthcare with A communication, project management and interpersonal skills. 

As an Associate, Compliance, you will work in the areas of:

• Provider Network Compliance: Project manage and execute on various provider-facing cross-functional compliance efforts, including our NCQA-accredited credentialing program, exclusions and sanctions monitoring, multi-state license acquisition, and license monitoring.
• Managed Care Enrollment Support: Support provider groups with Medicaid enrollments and compliance with health plan provider network registration requirements
• License Acquisition: Support providers in obtaining state licenses, tracking application progress, processing licensure reimbursement requests, and reporting status to Network S&O team, identifying opportunities to improve system processes.
• Network Service and Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to socialize key compliance knowledge and resources, including policies and procedures
• Training: Support implementation and ongoing execution of compliance related provider training platform, including Maven internal training, HIPAA, etc.

• Research: Document and research state-specific processes and regulations 

• Vendor Support: Manage relationships with vendors the Compliance team uses for licensure, credentialing, and monitoring. 

You are a great fit if you:

• Have 1-3 years of experience, preferably in healthcare or a client-facing role
• Working knowledge of healthcare provider types and basic industry understanding
• Stellar communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational processes and projects

• Demonstrated ability to effectively synthesize and communicate findings in a structured, thoughtful manner

• Comfort with core business tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and basic analysis

• Team player that thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
