Mativ is Hiring a Marketing Communications Manager Near Alpharetta, GA

The Marketing Communications Manager oversees advertising and communications activities to drive growth within the Protective Solutions business unit. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing plans for products/solutions and initiatives which optimize a promotional mix across advertising, publicity, tradeshows, sales tools, collateral, direct marketing, and digital marketing to deliver results across multiple geographies.

The Marketing Communication Manager works closely with other Protective Solutions Leaders to optimize marketing strategies, create and execute marketing tactics, support the project prioritization process within the product lines and measure/report the effectiveness of implemented programs. This role will also be responsible for effectively develop and execute tools and processes around marketing analysis and research to support the innovations and business groups.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and monitor strategic integrated marketing communications plans that deliver on business plan and marketing objectives.
  • Own MarTech stack, scope out gaps, needs and propose changes
  • Manage and coordinate exhibitions at trade shows, conferences, and virtual events including budgeting, conceptional/layout phase, planning, staffing to finally execution/participation and post exhibit monitoring and evaluation.
  • Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, product collateral, videos, logos, or other promotional products.
  • Drive planning efforts and oversee execution of marketing communications plan through to completion.
  • Ensure all programs include meaningful metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness.
  • Manage marketing budget and project budgets in alignment with strategic goals and priorities.
  • Support social media profiles and quality content on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
  • Plan, create, and produce marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and digital tools to support brand strategies and marketing objectives.
  • Develop and execute homepage (BU specific) design, content and any other relevant changes.
  • Develop content for media outlets to support and expand our digital presence.
  • Manage internal and external agency relationships to ensure timely completion of projects and appropriate spending.
  • Assist in the preparation and drafting of various communications (email, social media, commercial and corporate presentations, and investors reports).
  • Drive the development of product promotion plans in collaboration with sales, product management and R&D teams.
  • Collaborate closely with corporate communications and HR team, to drive strategy and content across a combination of internal events, employees’ communications, and initiatives.
  • Translate insights into recommended strategy and manage/mitigate reputational risks.
  • Processing of external web site requests for the BU, incl. maintenance of the CRM system.
  • Coordinate with legal department implementation of brand names for newly developed products/materials
  • Develop and execute marketing research processes and tools aligned with high growth projects and marketing analysis.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree required, preferred focus in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or equivalent subject matter.
  • 8-10 years of Marketing Communications experience with market leading brands
  • Experience leading a high-touch team and providing strategy, guidance, and people development.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and leading projects.
  • Must be adaptable with ability and willingness to efficiently manage multiple priorities and demands that continuously shift in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to partner and influence others in the organization including leadership to ensure the best path forward for success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (or equivalent) suite
  • Highly organized and proactive in project management and execution.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple functional teams
  • Comfortable working with deadlines and balancing competing priorities
  • Solution-focused and flexible to adapt to the needs of the business
  • Experience with market research process and tools
  • Position must be located in Alpharetta, GA and is a hybrid office role
