We are looking for interns that live in the Metro Atlanta area in Georgia. 
Summary of Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Analyst Intern, you will perform fact-based, data-driven analysis, modeling on significant amounts of data across all supply chain functions, using advanced analytical/statistical and optimization tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with external/internal customers and cross-functional teams on various projects to optimize the supply chain.
• Development of supply chain processes and systems to optimize customer service levels, inventory investment, capital investment, sales, and profitability
• Write complex (multiple joins, aggregation, dynamic SQL, etc.) and efficient SQL code to pull large amounts of data.
• Perform data validation for analytics
• Create and test tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Understand the outcome of the analysis and summarize the results to derive meaningful insights and action items for improvement
• Present and visualize the results in the form of reports and dashboards
• Learn Qlik Business Intelligence (BI) Tool.
• Suggest and assist in Adoption of Qlik BI tool to Supply Chain Planning with training and standard work instructions.
• Create Retrieve Excel Files to capture and correlate data for Demand and Supply Planning S&OP processes from BI tool.
• Validate SC Planning Dataset availability and identify data points missing.
• Create dashboards and reports from Qlik dataset as determined by business leaders.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program
• Preferred: Working toward a bachelor’s or master’s in supply chain management or similar
• Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Available to work 40 hours during the 12-week summer program (Tentative Dates: May 30 - August 22)

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualification/Knowledge/Experience

• Experience with data analytic tools
• Understanding of relational database concepts, technical environments, database platforms, related tools and utilities
• SQL skills (Writing queries to pull large data set, performing analysis on large data set using SQL queries, etc.)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and basic Excel (Pivot tables and Formulas) skills
• Manage multiple supply chain projects concurrently and effectively prioritize workload
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated with a competitive attitude
