Software Test Engineer
Overview
The Decision Management Platform (DMP) enables intelligent decision-based products through real time and near real time streaming analytics with the ability to govern these decisions and manage their outcomes with business agility at global scale to support Cyber Intelligence and prevent Fraud.
The new Decision as a Service team in DMP is developing a lightweight solution that encapsulates the powerful features of the DMP to provide Business Logic Implementation as a service for internal and market facing applications & services that enables us to grow our services, embrace new networks and keep our leadership in payments.
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join us on this amazing journey as we succeed on many tremendous opportunities ahead.
Role
- Work in a team of talented Test Engineers to test high-performance, high-volume Java decision processing applications
- Passionate about software development and testing, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an ability to drive and introduce improvements to our existing regression test coverage and strategy
- Work with architects, developers, analysts, and project managers
- Assist with support issues by troubleshooting incidents and problem tickets
- Write acceptance criteria tests for projects and execute on them
- Build out an automated test framework in conjunction with the Automation Test team as part of MasterCard's Continuous Delivery
- Participate in PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the Department with selection of Vendor Solutions, Technologies, Methodologies and Frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews of co-worker's deliverables to ensure best practices
All About You
- Considerate, polite, fun-loving, collaborative
- Experienced in Aspects of the System Test Life Cycle
- Experienced in Test Automation, API testing and debugging
- Good understanding of agile software development processes, ideally a knowledge of SAFe
- Experience with XML, Java, Web Services, SOAP, REST, Python & Linux
- Experience in team collaboration and bug tracking tools
- Good organizational and communication skills: both verbal and written
