Job Description CABINETWORKS GROUP has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor at our manufacturing facility in Marshall, Texas. 2nd Shift: 5pm - 3am JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for supervising Maintenance Technicians and boiler operators in a manufacturing and assembly environment, plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production and maintenance methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise team and provide performance feedback to effectively accomplish Management Operating System (MOS) business objectives. Supervise maintenance processes and methods to deliver process uptime and capability to achieve operational objectives and budgetary goals. Manage daily maintenance expenditures in compliance with budgets. Ensure operational performance and goal attainment as specified by the assigned metrics in the operations scorecard and provide periodic reporting and corrective actions plans to management. Develop, implement, and maintain Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) programs. Lead and take part in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and/or improve operational performance. Direct maintenance, repair, and upgrades to facility equipment. Maintain proper inventory levels of parts, materials, and equipment Works with department Manager in establishing department priorities. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Previous supervisory experience. Experience working with preventative Maintenance systems. Experience with pressure vessels and boilers. Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Fundamental knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen activities and Six Sigma processes. High level electrical experience, to include high, medium, and low voltages, PLC, drives, troubleshooting and new installation from design to install. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field, or work experience in industrial maintenance will be considered. 2-3 years supervisory experience. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS – 7i). Exposure to systems controls such as ISO 140001. Sound knowledge of manufacturing electrical and mechanical systems. Prior system controls experience.
