DIRECTOR OF FINANCE, Division of Student Life (DSL)-Administration, to report to the executive director of administration and operations and as the lead financial officer in DSL with responsibility for its financial planning and analysis functions, including budget, accounting, and the overall fiscal management and reporting of a $163M annual budget. Will develop and direct the implementation of the division's strategic business plans; provide expert analysis and cost-benefit solutions on business issues to DSL and MIT leadership; collaborate with the DSL department heads and financial administrators to implement sound financial practices and develop financial policies, procedures, and systems to facilitate reporting and analysis of financial information; report financial results to senior leadership; and serve as liaison to department leadership in the Office of the Vice President of Finance and Internal Audit. Job Requirements
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree and ten years experience in budget and finance. PREFERRED: master's degree (MBA ideally) and experience in budget and financial management in higher education.
