Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Responsible for short and long term replenishment and order placement to meet manufacturing requirements (determining EOQ, planning truck or container loads, and tracking inbound logistics through to delivery). Ensure material demands are met, working with operations and sourcing to provide alternatives plans or substitutions as needed to compensate for shortages, rejections, new priorities and related problems. Support total cost of ownership through enforcement and use of national agreements. Manage supplier relationships on issues and inventory requirements maintaining active dialog with operations to identify opportunities and risks. Maintain delivery confirmations and acknowledgements to ensure timely deliveries, resolving pricing or date issues with supplier. Ensures that all purchasing and inventory processes are SOX compliant. Work with Masonite Central Replenishment to provide mix analysis until enough history is established for utilization of MRP tool. Lead monthly meeting with Sales team around SKU Rationalization. Develop the monthly process to evaluate current inventory to adjust for mix in sales/ability to drive volume towards maximizing profit and minimizing overall risk (OSMI). Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations Management to develop credible consensus regarding demand, supply, and inventory plans which are within demonstrated capacities, budget and inventory targets. Supplier Management and Cost Saving Drive a centralized procurement process across business Participate and drive sourcing and negotiating with new suppliers for cost while leveraging Masonite Sourcing Department relationships for non-domestic purchases. Works with Masonite Sourcing Department to leverage spend analysis in negotiations with suppliers. Participate with Masonite Sourcing Department in supporting annual supplier reviews or initiatives. Develop strategies to improve supply chain performance for through process, innovation, and capability development Additional Support Functions: Utilization of SKU Rationalization data to support pricing initiatives to drive mix/move slow moving inventory. Support/exposure in quarterly business review of product mix and margin. Role will have exposure and potential support tasks to product and pricing given interrelatedness to procurement requirements. Estimated travel is around 20%. Skills and Capabilities: Must be able to influence, build consensus and work with business teams and corporate.
