Overview: This position is responsible for assisting in one or more production areas throughout the plant; Final Inspection, Detail, Repair/Rework, Spray, and other departments as needed. Responsibilities: Match work order number and corresponding line number to the exterior paperwork to verify the appropriate fire label requirement. Visually inspect to confirm that construction is correct and all machining has been completed accurately in order to apply the appropriate fire label. Apply appropriate label in specific location and log the label in the appropriate label log. Apply intumescent strip, cleats and installation guidelines when applicable. Cover labels with masking tape for face spray doors. Maintain inventory management of labeling supplies. Minimize COQ impact while meeting customer quality expectations. Logging of fire labels in accordance with ITS/UL standards. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to use small hand tools Base computer knowledge; excel preferred Work with minimal supervision Good communication skills Fast paced with high attention to detail and quality Safe Production: Masonite strives to maintain a target 0% safety incident rate.
