We are seeking a Mailroom Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will sort incoming mail for distribution to multiple facility locations, and prepare outgoing mail.

• According to established procedures sorts and opens incoming mail and distributes to appropriate Clinic physicians and personnel.
• According to established procedures picks up and receives outgoing correspondence and packages and prepares for mailing and /or shipping by weighing, stamping and so forth. Delivers outgoing mail to established destination for U.S. postal pickup.
• Utilizes and maintains mail room equipment according to established guidelines by recording postage volumes, contacting service representatives, ordering postage and so forth.
• Maintains current distribution /sorting schedule in relationship to changing staff and locations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to read and write in order to direct mail to appropriate personnel and to perform simple arithmetic calculation when computing postage required when weighing correspondence and packages at a level normally acquired through completion of high school.
• Approximately one to three months on the job experience necessary in order to become familiar with Clinic personnel and locations and to learn distribution guidelines and Clinic policies and procedures.
