Job Overview: MARTIN Technologies is seeking a skilled Automotive Fabricator to join our team. As an Automotive Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in crafting and assembling custom automotive components. If you have a passion for working with metal, using various tools, and bringing creative ideas to life, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Fabricate Automotive Components: Use metalworking tools, such as welders, grinders, and cutters, to create and assemble automotive parts.
Follow Blueprints and Specifications: Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with design and engineering teams to bring custom projects to completion.
Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all fabricated components meet specifications and safety standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate fabrication equipment, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Stay Informed: Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in automotive fabrication techniques.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as an Automotive Fabricator or similar role.
Metalworking Skills: Proficient in various metalworking techniques, including welding, cutting, and shaping.
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication work.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively to solve fabrication challenges and contribute to unique projects.
Team Player: Work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and handling heavy materials
