POSITION OVERVIEW

The Martha’s Table Fulfillment Associate is responsible for fulfilling orders for Martha’s Outfitters and MT’s essential supports projects, coordinating order fulfillment and pick up, and providing overall operational support to Martha’s Outfitters.

POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct operations for the phone & web program including completing orders, fulfilling orders for MT’s essential supports project, utilize Outfitters database tracking inventory, coordinating transport to pick up location, communication with MT guests regarding their orders, and other related activities.
• Provide operational support to Martha’s Outfitters including managing backroom operations (donation sorting, inventory, SalesVu operations), and helping lead volunteers.
• Provide backup and related support to Outfitters Program Associates for lunch breaks, meetings, and PTO days and participate in the boutique’s front operations.
• Monitoring and completing a project’s tasks from start to finish such as a clothing order from receiving the order to ensuring it is received by our guest.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team members, colleagues, guests, and other partners. Strong listening skills are also included. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with our guests, take orders, answer questions about the organization, and provide white glove service to our guests.
• Ability to organize, manage, and complete several tasks at a time including helping volunteers in the back of the store, taking, and completing clothing orders, managing order completion across several sites, etc.
• Ability to successfully manage several tasks at one time that have various deadlines and requirements.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Strong belief in Martha’s Table’s mission, approach, and core values. 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building positive relationships, working effectively as part of a team, and striving to meet the needs of those we serve.
• Experience working in a client or customer facing environment. 
• Strong time management skills and demonstrated problem solving experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in multiple software applications including most Microsoft Office products and Google Suite.
• Skilled at taking initiative, problem-solving, and working independently.
• Strong administrative skills including typing, data entry, and POS systems.
• Good organizational skills and an ability to manage a variety of tasks and competing deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and community groups. Comfortable with public speaking.
• Able to respond to organizational change and maintain a positive attitude.
• Conversational or fluency in Spanish is preferred 

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Moderate physical activity - requires moderate movement.
• Work environment predominantly in a store setting.
