Job Title: Appointment Coordinator - Rehab Services Aide - Casual Cost Center: 301231249 Eau Claire-Physical Therapy Scheduled Weekly Hours: 8 Employee Type: Casual Work Shift: Mon-Fri; day shifts (United States of America) Job Description: JOB SUMMARY The Appointment Coordinator – Rehab Services Aide will perform designated tasks related to the operation of the Physical and Occupational Therapy department and applicable Speech & Language Pathology. This person is frequently the first contact our customers have with the department and must be able to remain calm in stressful situations and represent the Clinic in a professional manner. The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with protocols and policies of the department and Clinic always with strict observance of patient confidentiality. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred/Optional: Completion of Nursing Assistant course or Healthcare related degree. Education in medical terminology is preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: Computer Experience. Preferred/Optional: Experience with computer scheduling. Experience in physical or occupational therapy departments or other medical field. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire. Preferred/Optional: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Awarded by the State of Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
