What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge Lounge Attendant position at Marriott San Antonio NW?
The M-Lounge Concierge is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests. The concierge is available to answer any guest inquiries regarding the city, events, and attractions. This individual will provide exceptional customer service to all of our guests and will support other departments including Front Office and Food & Beverage.
Duties and Functions:
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
- Maintain regular attendance compliance with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Comply at all times with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the M-Lounge in accordance with Mid-Continent Hospitality standards.
- Assist guests with problems with hotel services.
- Respond to inquiries with accurate information regarding hotel features, services and assistance.
- Provide information on the geographical area. Suggest site-seeing locations.
- Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and all other employees.
Qualification Standards:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Ability to stand during entire shift
