As an Accounting Coordinator, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, processing invoices, posting payments, generating financial reports, and contributing to long-term company growth. You will assist the accounting team with internal and external audits of financial data. The position will work heavily with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex financial data, create reports, and perform analysis to support business needs.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure that payments are up to date.
• Confirm and schedule payment amounts to be sent to carriers
• Perform daily and monthly audits of bank accounts to verify accurate financial data
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Provide accounting and back-office support for various departments and teams.
• Collaborate with management, employees, and external vendors as needed.
• Maintain financial security by following internal controls.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
• Proficiency in MS Excel and related computer knowledge
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Team player with multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
• Experience in QuickBooks encouraged, but not needed
