TradeSmith is hiring a Quantitative Analyst to add to our growing company. This person will work to create, explore, and enhance financial models and algorithms within the TradeSmith universe. This department is collecting extraordinary amounts of data and is looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of financial models and terms to write solutions that will identify new trends. This person should have a strong background in SQL and Python. The successful candidate will be open to aggregate, normalize, and clean data. The ideal fit is an engineer a demonstratable Data Science experience in a Financial Services environment, combined with a background in academic research. The Quantitative Analyst will work with our financial researchers, editors and marketing to craft and deliver various financial market reports, algorithms, and portfolio/strategy backtests.
