InvestorPlace.com has long been a hub for high-quality investment and market analysis with a longer time horizon (think, “Best dividend stocks for the next decade”). As more people sought out our advice and guidance, we expanded our coverage to include what’s happening in the markets each day (think, “Why did Bitcoin drop today?” and “What does the latest news from GameStop mean?”)
We want to entertain and educate our readers with smart, actionable and data-backed market analysis. We also want to tell our readers what’s happening in the markets in real-time and why it matters for their portfolios. To make all of this happen, we need thoughtful and timely editors.
This position will support our editorial team in publishing both long-term investment analysis and real-time market coverage. In practice, this means the Assistant News Editor will be responsible for editing 4-6 breaking news briefs a day as well as 1-2 gallery articles or longer-form pieces that provide in-depth takeaways to a retail audience.
Ideal candidates will be editors with a sharp eye for grammar and style and an understanding of SEO. We are looking for someone eager to dive into a high-volume position, edit quickly and beat competitors to market.
InvestorPlace.com is a fast-growing site that has reached as many as 13 million monthly users, and the Assistant Editor will help us reach even more.
We realize everyone works differently and might thrive in different work environments. That’s why we offer a flexible work structure that permits remote, in-office and hybrid structures. At InvestorPlace, we value promoting a healthy work/life balance with flexibility for appointments, kids or whatever might come up that you need to tend to.
