The Senior Systems Administrator’s role is to ensure the stability and integrity of our in-house highly virtualized server infrastructure, voice, data, and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, developing and implementing systems architectures that are resilient, reliable and cost effective. In addition, the Senior Systems Administrator will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network and server hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. The Senior Systems Administrator must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading and monitoring software and hardware. The individual will help in all areas to maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs.
