Mark Young Construction is Hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk Near Frederick, CO
Mark Young Construction, LLC (MYC) has an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to the efficient maintenance of accounts payable. They compile and maintain accurate records, reconcile statements, and issue payment to vendors in high volumes on a timely basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives, reconciles, and processes vendor invoices
- Reconciles statements with ledgers and ensures payments are made consistent with terms
- Maintains accurate and complete records of payments
- Ensures that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with some post high school education in accounting or business finance preferred
- One year of experience in a business office environment with accounts payable responsibilities
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills, notably MS Excel
- Experienced with business applications and accounting software
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and vendors
Benefits and Compensation:
