Description

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for sustaining the quality and performance of our product line by providing engineering expertise, utilizing working knowledge or product design. Implement manufacturing engineering principles, theories, and concepts to modify, improve, or streamline and/or integrate manufacturing engineering processes, duties, and/or requirements efficiently into the organization.

Requirements

• Lead, Mentor and Manage Engineering team
• Work with cross functional groups and international teams of engineers to identify projects that support the business. 
• Plan and develop project plans and ensure completion on time. Direct and coordinate the implementation of approved plans.
• Create technical specifications and documentation
• Provide technical support by responding to questions, making suggestions and analyzing equipment. 
• Review, approve, or modify product design
• Work in collaboration with service and manufacturing personnel to communicate the Company’s technology capabilities and provide ongoing technical support. 
• Responsible for auditing, revising, and establishing all engineering related work instructions, procedures, and processes.
• Develop and implement a cross-training program within the department
• Other duties assigned by management

 Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college or university
• 5 year of management experience
• 6 years of engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Communication/Language Skills 

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) is a must. 
• Must possess active listening skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) 
• SAP
  Solid Modeling Software experience is required 
• Ability to write technical and end user documentation
• 508a Panel Shop experience
• ETL/UL experience 
• National Electrical Code knowledge a plus
