MarJam Supply Company is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales

MarJam Supply Company is currently looking to fulfill fulltime sales positions to develop and maintain new and established accounts. The candidates should be energetic, willing to learn and ready to multi-task.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers questions and advises customers in selection of building materials supplies, and related materials in response to request by the customer.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of MarJam's stocking levels and delivery schedules.
  • Maintaining good customer relations in the performance of job.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into WPCRM
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Working with clients and contractors to select drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, metal framing and lumber products.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and other computer software is necessary.
  • Experience in building material sales and general knowledge about construction.
