Overview

The director of operations will be responsible for setting the roadmap for operational teams including projects such as process improvement, set and measure SLAs and KPIs, etc.This role will specifically focus on operational support for recent acquisitions.This is a chance to join an operations team that is growing quickly, giving associates significant opportunity for growth and personal development. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for continuous process improvement within Operations with the focus on operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain relationships with acquisitions
    • Lead discussions in integrating firms with respect to operational processes
    • Create solutions for transitions
    • Ensuring timeliness of transitioning operational processes and ongoing accuracy.
  • Development and implementation of operational controls
  • Development and delivery of team strategic goals
  • Ensure team alignment with strategic goals
  • Effectively collaborate with business partners within the organization including senior leadership
  • Develop and manage appropriate policies, processes, and procedures specific to the functions of Operations
  • Manage enterprise (cross-departmental) strategic initiatives and projects as needed
  • Continually evaluate and if applicable implement appropriate tools to execute deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job
  • 7 years of financial services industry experience

Skills & knowledge

  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Experience with Alteryx, PowerBI, Visual Basic, SQL, or similar work experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lead/manage a team of Managers/Team Leads
  • Ability to effectively assess and prioritize tasks in alignment with overall objectives of the organization
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Adapt to fast-pace, changing environment. High change management aptitude.
  • Effective organization, control, and follow-up of work
