$16.50 - $22.00 per hour The pay range listed above reflects the FULL pay range for this position. Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other Maricopa County employees within the same job classification. This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

As an Inpatient Mental Health Monitor, you will perform health-related video monitoring in a correctional environment. We will count on you to report findings, observations, and the patients' unusual and daily activities to the licensed nursing staff.

We Require
High school diploma or GED
Six months of experience performing clerical support services
A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
An MCSO background check is required prior to hire
We Also Value
Experience viewing multiple computer monitors and reporting findings
Experience in healthcare or jail setting
Job Contributions
Provides and maintains patient confidentiality
Completes and processes all required documentation legibly, timely, and with accuracy
Assists the patient care team as directed to ensure patient care and unit activities are complete
Participates in orientation and training of new staff as well as group problem solving and teamwork
Completes required classes and education credits
Answers phones as needed and performs other related duties as assigned
Working Conditions
Work is conducted inside a jail setting in close proximity to staff and inmates
Will sit for long periods watching monitors
May periodically experience high noise levels, interruptions, and dim lighting
