Hybrid Remote / Stafford VA

Marathon TS is seeking an Acquisitions Specialist to support a DoD customer in the Stafford VA area. This role will be hybrid onsite, 2-3 days a week depending on customer requirements. The ideal candidate will possess an Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in DoD Acquisition Management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Certifications: PMP or DAWIA PM Level III or Equivalent

Job Functions:

• Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
• Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
• Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
• Directs and controls activities related to the Logistics Integrated Information Systems – Marine Corps (LI2S-MC) customer.
• Having responsibility for risk management.
• Contract development (including development of program work statements (PWS)) and maintaining LI2S-MC DITPR-DON submissions.
• Interactions involve customer negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
• Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
• May supervise other company team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Active DoD Secret or higher
