Marathon Staffing is Hiring a Press Brake Operator - 2nd Shift Near Leominster, MA

Job Description

Marathon Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for Direct Hire, Press Brake Operator positions available immediately in Leominster, MA!!!

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up tooling and fixturing, as well as equipment operation in during production.

Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Operate press brakes to produce three dimensional parts from flat layout

• Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces; adhering to quality production standards and tight tolerance requirements

• Setting up complex set ups, forming, and editing programs at the machine

• Monitoring of calibration of all measuring equipment used and monitoring machinery and tools to ensure safe correct and optimum performance

• Install preset jobs and setup tooling, fixturing and machinery

• Verify the paperwork, print number, revision levels, operation sequence, materials, program and check sheet are all correct and consistent

• Ability to follow work instructions on the print and/or work order sequence

• Maintain the workflow and perform quality audits as required to ensure that the product meets or exceeds the customer specifications

• Ability to program offline

• Coordinate with Engineering team as changes arise

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures, process integrity and regulations

Requirements include, but may not be limited to:

• Have 2-3 years of experience, a must

• Strong mechanical aptitude with prior machining experience

• Prior experience working with Sheet Metal

• Capable of problem solving and troubleshooting

• Good math skills and ability to read measurements

• Ability to perform physical functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to work independently, problem solving and troubleshooting issues with little to no supervision

Position is 2nd Shift, hours are 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Salary range is $43,000 to $56,000 annually, but may increase depending on experience. Amazing benefits includes Medical, Dental and Vision (50% company paid!!!), 401K plan w/ match, Tuition Reimbursement, supplemental pay (overtime and bonus'), paid time off and more!
