Marathon Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for a Contract, Human Resource Operations Support position available immediately in Augusta, ME!

This position is expected to last 1 - 2 months.

The HR Assistant duties include, but may not be limited to:

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.
• Process documentation and prepare reports related to personnel activities such as recruitment, training, etc.
• Coordinate HR projects such as meetings and training.
• Respond to employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements include, but may not be limited to:

• Associate degree in human resources or related field
• Three (3) years of experience in human resources
• Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
• Basic knowledge of labor laws
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to attend in-person meetings / trainings
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

*** This position is in Augusta, reliable transportation is required ***

Hours are Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, unless otherwise agreed upon. Hybrid may be possible after training.

Pay rate is $22.00 per hour, may increase upon full time hire. Agency benefits available immediately include Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life.
