Family Nurse Practitioner

$10,000 sign-on bonus (32 -34 hours per week)

Marathon Health is seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to treat and work with the participants and families (ages 2 ) of our client at their health and wellness centers in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada.

This is a 32-34 hour per week position with full benefits. No on-call. We offer excellent salary and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, malpractice, CME assistance, life and disability, paid time off and holidays. This position requires working one Saturday per month: 8:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.

Weekly Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday working in Henderson, NV: 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

Tuesday: OFF

Thursday and Friday working in Las Vegas: 8:00a.m. - 7:00p.m.

Saturday rotation / once per month 8:00a.m. - 12:00p.m.

Responsibilities

The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the medical assistants within the Marathon Health Center. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, preferably in primary care/family practice
• Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Current and unrestricted state licensure
