Family Nurse Practitioner (potential for Hybrid: remote and in person work environment)

*Eligible for $30,000 sign-on bonus*

Marathon Health is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to treat and work with the employees and families (ages 2 ) of our client at their health and wellness center in Brookings, Oregon. 

This position may have the option to perform a portion of the role on a remote basis. Provider must be physically located in the area to reasonably commute to the health center when working onsite. No on-call hours or weekends.

Responsibilities

The Family Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing primary care services, conducting onsite health risk assessments, providing wellness education, supporting individual lifestyle changes, and helping individuals manage their chronic conditions.

The position may also be responsible for the oversight of the care delivered by the clinical team within the Marathon Health Center. Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center’s staff is a key ingredient to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner within a primary care/family practice setting
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Current and unrestricted state licensure
• Qualified applicants should believe in making a difference and believe in quality decisions, great communication, collaboration, and instilling trust to lead a great wellness program
• Candidate must have a quiet space for potential of virtual visits that can occur without disruption or background noise. Work environment must have a clean, organized background for video visits. Candidates are responsible for providing adequate internet bandwidth to maintain high quality video connections.
